Describe the work in plain terms
“Whole-home cleanout with furniture, boxes, and carpet” is more useful than “a big pile.” List the main materials and flag anything unusually heavy, dusty, sharp, liquid, or regulated.
- What project is creating the debris?
- Is the load bulky and light enough for a 40 yard container?
- Which dense materials need a separate plan?
- Will debris be ready at once or accumulate over several days?
Walk the delivery path
Measure the narrowest gate or driveway point. Look up for wires, branches, balconies, and low structures. Note slopes, tight turns, parked vehicles, and soft or recently repaired pavement.
What may affect an estimate
Material type, weight, location, access, rental period, pickup needs, disposal route, and local fees can all matter. Confirm the actual container dimensions, included weight, rental length, and overage terms before accepting service.
